Welcome to Shahabuddin Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is one of the best Private Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh and situated at most prestigious, secured and diplomatic Area of the capital city of Bangladesh as well as heart of the Dhaka City . It has very fabulous built college buildings in its own land of 12 storied building having 2,40,000 sft. It was established in 2003, fulfilling all the guidelines and criteria set up by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council and University of Dhaka. The government has been pleased to give permission for admission of 100 students per year MBBs course for every session.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

The candidates who choose to get admission in the college and passed in the examination conducted by the DHSB are allowed to get admitted according to their merit position. For , the candidates in the merit list have to collect an admission form of TK 1000fr admission office. The documents that must be submitted with the properly filled admission form are as follows:

The candidates must submit all of their original certificates and mark-sheets of both SSC and HSC along with one set of attested photocopies of each.

Original and attested photocopy of Testimonial has to be submitted. The Testimonial has to be collected from the head of the institute last attended.

Underprivileged students won’t have to pay Development fees and concession will be given on tuition fees upon submission of relevant supporting papers. Five percent of the students will get this benefit.

Entrance Exams

For Shahabuddin Medical College entrance exam 2020-2021, the candidate should be 17 years of age or more as of on July month of the ongoing year. The Shahabuddin Medical College admissions are dependent on entrance exams, which are mainly merit-based wherein the aspiring candidates are required to secure at least 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology in their 10+2 examinations. Students are also eligible for direct admission seats if they secured 50% marks in all subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission in Bangladesh

1. 1 . You should be 17+ on or before December 31st of the year of your admission.
2. 2 . Candidates with a gap of more than two years after passing 10+2 are not eligible for MBBS in Bangladesh.
3. 3 . You must have scored at least 60% in 10+2 with a science background, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. You must have scored 60% in Biology.
4. 4 . Minimum GPA in SSC, HSC or equivalent should be 8.00.
5. 5 . Minimum GPA in Biology in 3.5.
